These percentages reflect the distribution of protein interactions among the six defined interaction types of the PIN module. As of September, 2016,
Protein Binding was the largest category, followed by RNA Binding and DNA Binding.

PubMed was by far the largest category. This demonstrates that our method of manual extraction is critical for full, accurate annotation of protein interactions for autism candidate genes.
