About Animal Model
The Animal Model module of AutDB Gene examines robust and translational animal archetypes used in laboratory research to elucidate underlying causes and improved treatments for autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Through rigorous and continual curating of primary scientific research articles the Animal Model module provides integrated coverage of the latest research concerning neuronal systems relevant in molecular, cellular and behavioral function and dysfunction in ASD. All reported animal models of ASD are categorized as genetic or induced.
We envision our work will provide a platform for data mining, bioinformatics, and computational biology strategies to develop robust predictive models of ASD.
